Lanhill Alima - Reference

Lanhill Alima was one the earliest additions to our breeding herd and was a much loved and highly valued broodmare. Due to a desperate need to downsize, she was sold in 2025 to continue breeding in France.

Lanhill Alima was purchased from her breeder Fleur Scott in 2012, as an additional mare to cover with Teymour Taj, who I was leasing from Naomi Thomas at the time.  She took my eye as a well conformed, nice moving  mare - and helpfully she was unrelated to all stallions that I was hoping to use in future!

She was briefly backed in 2014 when we had to consider selling her on a ridden pony due to lack of grazing, but ultimately remained here and returned to breeding once space allowed. She has produced lovely foals, both pure and part-bred and is a natural mother, conceiving, foaling and raising them with ease.

2022 - Holloway Araminta - Part-bred Caspian filly by Hearnesbrook New Moon (Connemara)

2024 - Holloway Andre - Part-bred Caspian colt by Linaro (top class jumping pony)

2025 - not covered for 2025. Will aim to cover with a Caspian stallion for a 2026 foal
