Dot was acquired from the Henden Stud when they were reducing numbers in 2014, chosen because of her exceptionally rare female line. We unfortunately only managed to breed one foal from her before losing her due to injury in 2018.

Jim was the only foal we bred in 2016, as our other mare who scanned in foal to Costessa Kassam sadly absorbed her pregnancy. He had a very straightforward character and was backed and ridden as a 4yo. He did lots of loose jumping, showing impressive scope and technique over a fence. He was then sold on in 2021 and is now used in a riding school.

Flapjack was our first foal of 2017 and the first foal sired by Spark Kalaleh. His unusual dun colour along with his lovely type, temperament and rare bloodlines made him an attractive proposition to other breeders. He was sold to Sweden at weaning and is now used as a breeding stallion.

Effie was the fourth and final foal from our first ever crop of Caspians. Sired by Barbara Smathers lovely stallion Arjuna Akbar Shah. Effie was put in foal as a 3yo with the intention of potentially having a ridden career before returning to breeding later in life. She was subsequently sold to Sweden as a 4yo with her filly foal still at foot.

Florence was our only foal from Henden Khandan-Dokht. She is the smaller, daintier type of Caspian, but well put together with a pretty head and lovely movement. We bred one foal from her and then covered her with Holloway Pirouz before selling her to France in early 2024. We hope that she will breed many foals to spread her exceptionally rare bloodlines!

May has done lots of showing, agility and has completed many different classes and challenges in online Caspian classes, picking up plenty of prizes along the way. She will likely also be ridden and bred from in future.
